Personality: Affable and refreshingly polite, Izumo is as much a gentleman as any lady dreams of, and often plays up the charm around those of the opposite sex. He is able to exhibit calm despite his conflict with the Third Sanctum's connection to the Slate, though occasionally he loses his temper. More often than not, the cause of this rupture in his picture of serenity will be damage to his precious bar in any shape, way or form. Given his role as one of the most unstable Kings, Izumo struggles often to rein in the power that the Slate has granted him, indulging in more than just a handful of outlets that are more or less unhealthy. Nevertheless, he reasons that it is far better to be a little unhealthier than most than to end up a giant crater devastating Japan's geography.
Fighting Style: While well adept in hand-to-hand, Izumo prefers ranged attacks via the use of his lighter and cigarette. With a flick of his fingers, he is able to utilize the ashes of his used cigarette to become homing balls of fire that converge on the target, and are capable of combustion. He may also summon flames just as well from the thin air, and from his lighter that he keeps on his person at all times, no matter what. With his Aura, he is also more than capable of creating a shield in order to protect himself, latently exhibiting one for the most part unless his guard is completely down.
